Next challenge
I will start my racing season, so on Sunday I will run a 26 km challenge, I was assembling a new bike (Ibis full suspension), but I haven´t found a front suspension, so I will run in my old Trek Ex 8. I will show you the videos of this ride. This will be the training for the big one: 95 km of Gualivá. I´ll show you the altimetry:

New challenges
Hi guys,
It seems that nobody is reading my posts, jejeje, even written in english. But, I will go ahead with my new adventures, August 27th I will ride the Quininí´s Challenge, more than 60 km with 2400 meters of vertical ascense, I couldn´t ride the last challenge because a close relative died.
Also I´m preparing myself for one of hardest MTB races in Colombia, the 120 km of Gualivá. I have been thinking about it, because I´m not a long breath race specialist (hehe, I´m specialist in nothing), but I will try to do my best and ride until the sunset come. I will carry a front light lamp just in case.
My videos and photos can be reviewed in youtube: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ansjol1&aq=f

New group
Hi guys, I have been preparing a "challenge", for the next July 8th, we will ride MTB around 68 km with 2200 m of vertical ascending. I have bought several things to use for this race.
Firstable, since almost all my staff was inspired in the livestrong campaign, I have received by mail my brand new oakley jawbone livestrong sunglasses, nice, confortable and very lightweight, in the box is written that the lenses are crazy, and I will expect more, because they were really expensive.
Also, I bought 3 bottles of squirt wax chain lubricant, I have read that is an amazing lube, so I did the test last weekend, my conclusions are: is better than my old lube (park tool), because this wax is repelling all the dust and mud, I did the test with 110 km of mud, raining and 60 km of highway (I need to get to the forest and my city is really big...), and the chain is clean (full of wax but clean), squirt reviews recomend that this effect will remain for about 400 miles, so I will wait until this or before the race.
Since I have always had problems with my right knee, since I have started to be a more agressive crosscountry rider (the problem is that I always felt down on my knee), I´m waiting for a pair of knee protector, the 661 kyle strait, I read excellent reviews about this staff, even better than the top of the line, the 661 evo (I have the protective shorts), so, I will start using this protectors even is if hot, because my knees are going to thank me for the rest of my life.
So, currently, I´m training every day, riding all the weekend, I´m living like a hermit and eating really healthy.
I will post the race videos in my youtube page soon.
See ya.
Jajaja, my post was named "new group", I have forgotten that I bought the new shimano XT entire group, is silky soft, very nice, but after one ride, I have scratched all the crankset, ops, but is mine, and I have to work as a mule to buy my staff, so doesn´t matter. I´m happy and very soon I will change my Ex 8 aluminum frame for a carbon hardtail frame, I hope that make me a little faster. Cool, doesn´t it?
Bye

More Patios + Brand new Trek Fuel Ex 8
Today I did a new challenge, pedaling up to patios but all the time standing on my pedals, very difficult, I did this effort during 6,9 km uphill (6,7%), really a good exercise, but hurts as hell...
Tomorrow I have an entire group (6 guys) to ride the 80 kms of Vuelta a la Sabana, I will try to being in front of the group all the time with my brand new MTB, let me show you some picture of my new ride, a Trek Fuel EX 8 full suspension, heavy, confortable (however the saddle is horrible), but still fast, is like to drive a truck on a highway.
Also I´m waiting for my new camera (Contour GPS full HD), I hope that I will post some videos about my rides.
See ya,
