Cocuy Trip


All the people that live in Europe, Asia or North America, now are thinking about a white christmas, however here in Colombia, we have not snow or anything like this, all year we have the same weather. For that reason I have decided get looking for snow, for a white christmas, so, I have to climb a very high mountain, the "Sierra Nevada del Cocuy", it´s a greate system of mountains with 22 peaks above 5000 meters, more than 16000 feet. I hope, I will find my precious snow. So, about my training, I will keep on running, rather, riding my bike, but at this altitude, I hope I will not have problems with the lack of oxygen and the extra UV radiation. I will show you my statistics and many pictures. So, I will post after January...

Ok, Library again


Today I woke up early in the morning, at 6:00 I was riding my bike, I couldn´t ride with the fast & furious team, because I have a little eye pain, I haven´t bought a professional sunglasses, so I can´t ride fast (& furious) enought.


So, I will ask Santa for my sunglasses (mayble the Livestrong Oakley Sunglasses), instead of that we have in Colombia a Baby God, for the presents. So, PLEASE, I want my sunglasses, send this by Ebay, thanks.

To the University



Today, was impossible to take my car, what a shame..., also, my city is a real chaos, the new mayor is looking for stop the traffic, so has done some policies to prohibit cars... Doesn´t matter, for me is greate, because I use my mountain bike.

Hoy fue imposible coger mi carro, qué pena..., además, mi ciudad es un caos, el nuevo alcalde (sammy) está buscando parar el tráfico y ha creado algunas políticas para prohibir el carro... No importa, para mi, mejor, porque uso mi bici de montaña.

Los entrenamientos con mi nuevo Polar CS200cad



Luego de esperar una semana, después de la compra por Ebay de mi nuevo monitor de ritmo cardiaco, me dispongo a publicar mi rendimiento en éstas páginas, espero que sirvan de ayuda de al menos una persona y con esto tendría sentido el tiempo invertido.

Background: Vivo en Bogotá, Colombia. A 2600 msnm, antes vivía fuera del país, volví con un peso de 89 kg (mi peso normal es 76 kg), mido 177 cm, he empezado a bajar de peso usando mi bici, aquí haré una síntesis de mis entrenamientos.

English Version: After a week waiting, and after my purchase on Ebay of my new heart rate monitor, I´m able to publish my performance in this pages, I hope that this will be helpfull at least for one person, with this, the time invested will make sense.

Antecedentes: I live in Bogotá, Colombia. 8530 feet above the level of the sea, before I lived abroad, I return weighing 196 pounds (my normal weight is 167 pounds), I´m 5,8 feet tall. I have started loose weight using my bycicle. Here, I´ll do a resume of my trainings.
